Well, its officially Fall, even though the weather in SC right now suggests otherwise. And, in honor of the change of season, I decided a wreath was needed for our front door. We own a home now and I am pretty sure that is what people with homes do…they hang wreaths on the front door. I went to Target and found a super cute one, but it was $25! So, I decided to make one instead.
I bought a plain twig wreath, some “autumn garland,” and some florist wire (to attach the garland to the wreath) at Jo Ann’s, set up shop at the kitchen table, and made my own Fall Wreath for the front door.
Seth thinks it’s a little grandma-ish, but, I told him that a wreath on the front door says “nice, happy people live here.” I don’t think he bought that explanation, but, regardless, I’m a huge fan of the wreath. Its like an accessory for the house and no one should go without accessories to dress up any outfit (or season in this case).
